Join us in San Jose for our 2nd Annual Maintenance and Operations Skills Development Academy. School maintenance and operations workers will be trained by experts from union skilled trades apprenticeship and journey level schools, state and federal certified trainers, school district administrators, community colleges and private industry trainers. Examples of classes that will be offered are: OSHA 10 training that results in a lifetime OSHA 10 certification; fork lift and/or aerial lift certification trainings; blue print reading, backflow, HVAC, earthquake safety, plumbing, basic electrician training, HAZMAT, pesticides and dangerous chemicals, green cleaning, sprinklers, boilers, emergency management, safe playgrounds, Williams Lawsuit Settlement, basic computers, supervisory training and more. The 2008 M&O Academy was a huge success, with more than 200 Maintenance and Operations workers attending in Las Vegas, Nevada. Attendees from 2008 will automatically receive registration information.
